“One more football season is over and often the end of the season is associated with parting and farewells. During this time, we became not only good acquaintances but also friends. It is a little sad to say goodbye, but I have no doubt that the friendship  between Panevėžys and you will continue. I thank the coaches for the contribution they have made to the football of our city, our fans and I wish the greatest success in the new stage,”said Rytis Račkauskas, the Mayor of Panevėžys.

On Sunday, the A league season ended. Panevėžys played against Hegelmann Litauen team from Kaunas district (2:2). In this year's championship, FC PANEVĖŽYS is in the fourth place in the tournament table with 60 points. For the second season in a row, FC PANEVĖŽYS has won the right to compete in the UEFA Conference League Tournament.
