Representatives of the Project “Space4People” took part at E-University Event
The event discussed how to successfully develop an integrated action plan and prepare for its implementation, how to evaluate available resources and create the best financial solution. The experts shared insights and advice on how to get support to fund applications, etc.
The participants listened to the theory in plenary sessions, followed by working in small interactive groups, trying to put the theory into practice, each time trying out a specific tool. The E-University was attended by over 400 people from more than 200 different cities in the European Union.
The European Union's URBACT funded "Space4People" project aims to increase the attractiveness of public spaces by focusing on three main aspects: pedestrians and their spaces, parking issues, intermodal and public transport.
The URBACT program supports the sustainable integrated development of European cities, provides funding for networking, exchanges of experience, plays a key role in strengthening urban links, exchanging good practice and finding innovative solutions.
