We presented the city, business environment, the Industrial Park to the Ambassador visiting Panevėžys for the first time. The possibilities for American companies to be established in the city, participation in the annual fair EXPO AUKŠTAITIJA was discussed”, said the Mayor.  

Exchange programmes for students and traineeships posibilities were talked over.

After the visit in the City Hall the Mayor together with the Ambassador H. E. Anne E. Derse went to the Family Home and took part in deployment ceremony of the 13th rotation of Provincial Reconstruction Team

Later the Ambassador had a meeting with the Jewish community of Panevėžys.
