Panevėžys is becoming the centre of the world events: the World Ultra Triathlon Championship has just ended, at present we look forward for the World Deaf Magicians Festival and on the occasion of the 513th Birthday of the city the world stars, Swedish group "Secret Service" will be performing.

"I am really glad to  see so many masters of magic  who gathered in Panevėžys. With no doubt I believe that this festival will bring us much impressions and perfect mood. The most important is that children and adults will be taken into the world of miracles. I wish you a perfect event, positive emotions and good time in Panevėžys celebrating its Birthday",- said the Mayor Rytis Račkauskas in an opening festivity.

For the first time in the history of the Deaf of Lithuania and the Baltic countries, the XVIth World Deaf Magicians Festival  is taking place on September 4-11, in Panevėžys. The most talented Deaf Magicians from 15 countries of the world are participating.

Today, the Mayor of Panevėžys City Rytis Račkauskas welcomed the participants of the World Deaf Magicians Festival from the USA, England, India, Germany, Ukraine and  Latvia in the City Hall.
