The Mayor of Panevėžys District Povilas Žagunis, the President of Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, the General Director Visvaldas Matkevičius and the entrepreneurs of the city took part in the meeting as well.

The guests were represented by the Deputy General Secretary of the Board of Shenyang City, the Chairman of City Economy Committee of Shenyang City Mr. Li Jun, the Chairperson of Shenyang Branch of Cooperational Committee of International Trade of China Ms. Yan Fengxia, the Chairman of Board Committee of Chemistry Industry Park of Shenyang District Mr. Li Jining, the Head of City Economy Committee of Shenyang City Mr. Zhang Yanjun and the Head of Shenyang Branch of Cooperational Committee of International Trade of China Mr. Li Zhi.

The guests have been presented with the investment environment of the city, attractiveness to foreign investors, Panevėžys Free Economic Zone and Ramygala Industry Park.

After the meeting, an Agreement Memorandum has been signed between Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts and China. It aims at fostering of the development of trade between Shenyang and Panevėžys entrepreneurs, making and strengthening of business contacts in organising conferences, seminars, study tours, exhibitions, visits of traders and finding of trade, business partners for both parties.
