The guests from China were interested in business opportunities in Panevėžys. They also presented the economical situation, investment possibilities of their province to the authorities of the city and businessmen. Panevėžys businessmen were invited to visit Euro-China Business Meeting in Harbin in June.

" It is a great honour for us to welcome industrialists, businessmen and government officials from Heilongjiang Province in our city. We are very glad that they have chosen Panevėžys. I hope that this first meeting will stimulate further cooperation of businessmen and cities",- said the Deputy Mayor Regina Eitmonė.

The President of Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts Sigitas Gailiūnas appreciates the visits which open the possibilities for local and national businessmen in China and the whole world. " I hope that the first contacts between Panevėžys  and Chinese businessmen will be the first steps in a long term cooperation. I believe that our businessmen will be active participants  in the Business Meeting in China".
