The participants of the meeting the Deputy Mayor Maurikijus Grėbliūnas, the Acting Director of Administration Janina Gaidžiūnaitė discussed important business events in the city- the Fair "EXPO Aukštaitija", the establishment of Business Council, the award of "Auksinė krivūlė" for making the name of Lithuania famous, the perspectives of "Rail Baltica", the Day of Panevėžys at Science Academy in Vilnius. The guest presented the already established Norwegian-Lithuanian Business Chamber in Oslo, the future visit of Norwegian journalists to Panevėžys.

The Mayor expressed the joy for successful mutual cooperation, sharing of thoughts and ideas in developing the contacts between local authorities  and foreign investors. Once again desolate city buildings and their use, the infrastructure of international transport communications, common projects with the Public Institution "Invest in Lithuania" have been discussed.

"Several times I have heard about good contacts of Panevėžys Municipality and businessmen, successful cooperation from high national officials. We wish you to become the best city not just in the country. F.I.B.A. also encourages the inhabitants to love their own city. We have awarded the winners of the Photography Contest "Smiling and Creating Panevėžys". We hope to continue with other campaigns, events and develop the feeling of being proud of our own city",- said the President of F.I.B.A.
