V. Satkevičius expressed the thanks to the guests for cooperation, cultural exchange, presented cultural, social and economical situation in Panevėžys. He also invietd for more active cooperation and also expressed the joy that most of the guests speak Lithuanian and know Lithuanian.

The guests told that there are lots Lithuanians in Uruguay. About 100 families are active participatants in the activities of the community celebrating 80 years anniversary. At present the community looks for a priest and a teacher of Lithuanian.

According to Z. Rimkuvienė it is the first time when Uruguay Lithuanians visit Lithuania. Last year a Lithuanian delegation visited Uruguay where they have taken part at festive events cherishing Lithuanian traditions.

The guests have already seen Vilnius, Kernavė, Trakai, Klaipėda, Nida, Palanga, Šiauliai. This evening the Lithuanian Dance Group "Ąžuolynas" from Uruguay will show a performance in Laisvės Square. Tomorrow the guests depart to Kaunas and next week they will take part at the Festival of Songs in Vilnius.
