The development strategies for cities have been presented. Sharing of good practice cases and the application of solutions connected with advanced technologies have been demonstrated. The development strategies of cities have been discussed and the priorities ensuring safety of citizens, sustainable mobility and decrease of pollution in cities by using renewable energy resources have also been taken into consideration. 

" During the meeting with the Mayor of Taipei City we have discussed the cooperation possibilities between countries and cities. We hope that the started contacts with the companies of technologies and the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan will have a positive impact on the cooperation between cities. During the visit we have been particularly interested in the solutions on smart bus stops, public transport, the advanced technologies of city surveillance system, etc. I do think that certain things may be easily adopetd in our city,- said the Deputy Mayor Aleksas Varna.

In June, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan plans to visit the Baltic countries. The City of Panevėžys may also be a place for welcoming the Deputy Minister in Lithuania.
