The Works of a Dutch Painter in Panevėžys
The Chairperson of Panevėžys District Court Virginija Svirplienė was happy about decorated space and the exhibition has been opened by the Deputy Mayor of Panevėžys City Petras Luomanas.
" It is symbolic but these days Panevėžys has been celebrating twenty three years of cooperation between Panevėžys and Goes. We cooperate not only in the field of art, exchange exhibitions, art groups. Panevėžys-Goes Friendship Committee is actively working for the benefits of Panevėžys inhabitants- exchanges experience, organises charity for social needs. The exhibition will be demonstrated in several institutions of Panevėžys",- said the Deputy Mayor P. Luomanas.
A Dutch painter Mathisse Arendsen is well-known not only in the Netherlands but also abroad. His works have been presented in 87 exhibitions. As the painter puts he has been using for about twenty different techniques in painting.
