Guests from Poland in the Mayor's Office
The guests take part in the IInd International Science Practice Conference "The Tendencies of Science and Studies in Globalisation".
The Mayor presented the guests with the economical, cultural, educational and social situation, expressed the joy about the events connected with the programme "PANEVĖŽYS-LITHUANIAN CAPITAL OF CULTURE 2014". The guests expressed the wish for co-operation between science institutions and cities. "Panevėžys and Konin are very similar and the proposal of the guests to cooperation between cities could be presented to the City Council. On the other hand, I am happy that the College organises international seminars and in such a way makes the cityof Panevėžys famous",- said V. Satkevičius.
The conference taking place at the College is organised together with the University of Daugavpils (Latvia) and Konin Higher School. The representatives from Latvia, Poland, Estonia, Belgium, Lithuania will read the presentations.
