Let the school be a safe space where everyone can realise their aspirations and dreams. I believe that your knowledge and achievements will be very necessary in creating a free and peaceful Ukraine", said the Mayor of the City R. Račkauskas in congratulating the community.

This academic year, almost 100 Ukrainian students from pre-school to the 11th grade have registered to attend the school. The children will study according to the national general education program of Ukraine, approved by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania. The educational institution will ensure that students can continue their education in their country after returning to Ukraine. In addition, students will have the opportunity to attend Lithuanian and English language classes, and in order to facilitate their integration into Lithuanian society, additional Lithuanian language classes will be organised.

Founded two years ago, the International School of Ukraine, which operates according to the Ukrainian education program,  unites over 3,000 students and almost 300 teachers in four Lithuanian cities: Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, and now Panevėžys. The teaching process is financed from the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania, and additional funds for the maintenance of the school are collected by the International Educational Support and Charity Fund of Ukraine. Certificates issued by international schools are recognized in European and Ukrainian universities and colleges.
