The Mayor welcomed H. E. Ambassador of Spain
The guest visits Panevėžys not for the first time. Today, H. E. Amabassador opened the photo exhibition about the Complex of Alhambra Palace in Granada at the Public Library.
City cultural life, education, sport, business has been presented to the Ambassador during the meeting with the City Mayor and the Acting Administration Director Janina Gaidžiūnaitė. Basketball uniting both countries was also discussed.
"This visit to Panevėžys is a special one as I came to Lithuanian Cultural Capital. Lots of amasing events take place in your city, it is a great fun to take part in them and to bring some part of Spanish culture. Though, I am not just interested in culture, business cooperation is also in the scope of my interest",- said the Ambassador.
The guest was interested in possibilities of business establishment, international Rail Baltica project. The Ambassdor has been given the informational material about Panevėžys Free Economic Zone.
