The Deputy told the leaders of the groups and also the children about Panevėžys, its cultural life.

"I am very glad that you are here. I am happy to see all of you and we are thankful VILTIS basic school which organises such a nice festival every year. It invites other nationalities to come and to visit the beautiful city of Panevėžys",- said R. Eitmonė.

About 730 young dancers and singers take part in the festival. The participants invite all the inhabitants of Panevėžys  and the guests of the city to a free concert at CIDO Arena on May 17 at 03.00 P.M. The groups from Latvia PIENENITE and LIGO, Ukraine SOKOLIATA, Moldova MARTIŠOR, Georgia MOMAVALI will present their programmes. Lithuania will be represented by the groups VILTIS, SAULUŽĖ, PYNIMĖLIS.
