The Director of Administration Kristina Vareikienė, the Deputy Administration Director Janina Gaidžiūnaitė, the Mayor's Advisor Petras Luomanas and the representatives of Foreign Investors' Association took part in the meeting.

M. Grėbliūnas thanked the Ambassador for the help in organising the events of Lithuanian Cultural Capital. He presented cultural, social and economical situation and invited Sweden for a more active cultural-economical cooperation.

After the meeting with the authorities of the city the Ambassador paied a visit to V. Žemkalnis Gymnasium and met the students who learn Swedish.

After the lunch the Ambassador will read a lecture for the studnts at Kaunas Technological University, Panevėžys Faculty about Swedish and Lithuanian contacts, will go to a Swedish capital company AQ WIRING SYSTEMS. At 05.00 P.M. she will open the exhibition THE ROLE OF FAMILY IN SWEDEN at G. Petkevičaitė-Bitė Library.
