The Ambassador of China visited Panevėžys
The representatives of Peace Fund together with Julius Kazėnas accompanied the guests.
"Panevėžys is a very beautiful and tidy city. The Old River Bed is very impressive. The aim of our visit is not just to get acquainted with the city but also to start closer cooperation contacts between countries, cities and regions, to help the enterpreneurs to develop business",- said the Ambassador Zengwen Liu on his first visit to Panevėžys.
By presenting the city the Mayor V. Satkevičius stressed a favourable business environment and infrastructure, cultural and sports events taking place in the city and the ambitions of the next year to be the Cultural Capital of Lithuania. The President of Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts Sigitas Gailiūnas reviewed the largest business companies, the developed business directions, business missions of city enterpreneurs in China, the visits of China businessmen in Panevėžys, the perspectives and plans.
