During the meeting, the delegation of the Japanese Embassy was presented with the city's economic, social and investment environment, sports and cultural achievements. Opportunities for cooperation, perspectives of cultural exchange were discussed.

After the meeting with the mayor, the guests visited Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Library, where the ambassador himself gave a lecture on meditation, talked about the cultural similarities and differences between the two countries - Lithuania and Japan.
