Today, the delegation of Ramla City( Israel) headed by the Member of the City Council Mr. Ronen Moshaev came to congratulate the city. Together with the head of the delegation the Head of Civil Security Department Mr. Robi Koren and the Chief Expert of City Infrastructure Department Mr. Hertzel Tubali are also present.

"On behalf of the Mayor of Ramla City Mr. Yoel Lavi we would like to congratulate you on this beautiful festivity. We wish the inhabitants of the city and you, personally, all the best and are looking forward to see you in our city",- said the Head of the Delegation R. Moshaev and handed over the city flag, other souvenirs to the Mayor of Panevėžys.

"It is a great pleasure to see you in Panevėžys. I think that time has come to move the frosen relations forward, to discuss cooperation perspectives in the fields of culture, sport, business, etc. Our cities may become official partners by signing the Partnership Agreement",- said the Mayor R. Račkauskas.

The Head of the Delegation expressed hope that the Mayor of Panevėžys City Rytis Račkauskas will visit Israel in the nearest future and discuss concrete cooperation possibilities.

Together with Ramla delegation, the representatives of Panevėžys partner city of Vynitsia (Ukraine) and the Red Cross in Germany plan to be present at festive events of Panevėžys City Day.
