The Deputy Mayor A. Varna will take part in the City Days of Daugavpils

On June 2-3, the delegation from from Panevėžys will take part in the IVth International East Baltic Business Forum which is part of the events dedicated to the City Birthday. The aim of the Forum is to promote cooperation between Latvia and foreign companies, the cities of Panevėžys and Daugavpils, to present the participants with the business possibilities in Daugavpils and the advantages of Latgale Special Economic Zone. The main topics of the Forum: Latgale Special Economic Zone, business cooperation in the industries of metal, wood and textile.

Panevėžys and Daugavpils signed the Cooperation Agreement on April 6, 2004.
