The Ambassador expressed gratitutde that the representatives of the Municipality took part in the event presenting Czech business in Vilnius. The promise was expressed to bring Czech business representatives to Panevėžys. The Mayor of Panevėžys invited the Ambassador to encourage the businessmen of Czech Republic to be present at International Business Fair "EXPO Aukštaitija".

"The meeting was warm and meaningful. We remembered the participation of Czech Republic in the project PANEVĖŽYS CULTURAL CAPITAL 2014, the contribution of the President Vaclav Havel into the regaining of independence, the struggle of both countries for independence. We hope that some day we shall hear some proposal from the embassy about a possible partner city in Czech Republic",- said the Mayor R. Račkauskas.

Later H. E. Mr. B. Mazanek took part in the evening dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Czech poet, politician, President Vaclav Havel at G. Petkevičaitė-Bitė Library.
