The Mayor met the Police Officers from Lünen in Panevėžys
Five police officers from Dortmund Police Office(Lünen belongs to it) and the Coordinator of Lünen - Panevėžys Partnership Burkhard Korbl pay a visit to the city.
"Lünen is the oldest partner city. Ver close relations on municipal, cultural and sports levels are obvious. It is great that sharing of experience is vivid among such professions like police officers and lawyers",- said the Mayor R. Račkauskas.
It is not the first visit of the guests to Panevėžys in implementing the activities of international police association. Both parties belong to this global professional organisation.
"Cooperation between cities, regions and countries brings progress. Besides, we have common interests in regard to international police issues",- said the Head of Dortmund Police Office Peter Hennes.
