"Not long ago the Ambassador of Czech Republic visited Panevėžys and today we meet the representatives of business of the same country. We are pleased that cooperation continues-we meet not for the first time. We continue working with Panevėžys Institute of Kaunas Technological University and the schools of the city concerning the training system MERCURY. The aim of which is to teach already pre-schools children to work with connstructors and robots",- said the Mayor V. Satkevičius.

The city, business possibilities, free economic zone and the track of RAIL Baltica strengthening the positions of it were presented to the guests. Besides, this railway track passing Panevėžys would improve the connection with Czech Republic.

"We have already heard about the possibility that RAIL BALTICA will pass via Panevėžys. The started business contacts could be even c loser. At present one Czech company is thinking about the possibility to construct a plant producing the construction materials of exterior for blocks of houses. The represenatives of the company producing industrial boilers of biofuel are also with us this time",- spoke the President P. Rachunek about possible business contacts.

Later the guests visited the company PANEVĖŽYS ENERGY.
