20 teams from 14 countries take part in the race to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Baltic Way.

Michail Kononenko("Kols") from Ukraine became the winner of tghe Ist stage. The Mayor of Panevėžys City Vitalijus Satkevičius, the Acting Administration Director Janina Gaidžiūnaitė and the dancers of "Panevėžys Garsas Wind Orchestra  awarded the winner and wished him success. The II nd stage will take place already in Latvia (Riga-Sigulda), II rd stage- Valmiera (Latvia)- Parnu (Estonia), the IV th and the V th -Parnu-Viljandi, Viljandi-Tallinn.

20 teams compete in the race: Lithuania, Russia, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Byelorussia, Norway, Ireland, Czech Republic, Belbium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Austria, Ukraine, Kazachstan, Slovakia, Japan.
