18-month pilot programme joined the forces of Kalmar Municipality, Vaxholm Municipality, the Municipalities of Vastervik and Varmdo, Mariehamn, Panevėžys and Slupsk for the development of Local Baltic Sea Action Plans.

The group also worked with solution providers, academia, research institutions, government agencies and funders from both Baltic Sea countries and abroad.

The main target of Panevėžys City remains sustainable water management, restoration of storm water network and arrangement of the banks of the River Nevėžis for public needs.
