The Second Secretary of the Embassy Ms. Laura Pakaste, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Estonia  Mr. Gintaras Sluckus, the Executive Director of Estonian Chamber of Commerce Mrs. Kaira Varma-Gilys, the Director of UAB "Biuro pasaulis" Mr. Artūras Tuminas, the General Director of UAB "Toode" Mr. Ervin Leis, the President of Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts Mr. Sigitas Gailiūnas and the General Director  Mr. Visvaldas Matkevičius were present at the meeting in the Mayor's office.

"We are pleased to see you and the accompanying delegation here and using the favourable opportunity we would like to present you the City of Panevėžys",-said the Mayor R. Račkauskas.

The Ambassador came with the aim to get acquainted with economical, social situation and to discuss closer business contacts between Estonia and Panevėžys. The economical, social, investment situation was presented. The guests learnt about sports achievements and cultural life.

After the meeting the Ambassador of Estonia visited the Art Gallery, G. Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library, the Estonian Capital Company "Rifas" and Art Glass Studio "Glassremis" .
