Japanese Businessmen are paying a Visit in Panevėžys

2016.09.05

The businessmen came to meet the businessmen from Panevėžys City, share good experience and to present the advanced technologies applied in Japan.

"I hope that the visit to Lithuania and Panevėžys will bring mutual benefit and be productive. I thank all contributing to the construction of cooperation bridges. I believe that today's meeting will be constructive and bring perfect results",- said the Mayor Rytis Račkauskas wishing the guest to have pleasant time in Panevėžys.

After the meeting with the City Mayor, the production of Japanese business companies and the services were presented to the city businessmen. The representatives of companies dealing with logistics, IT, waste management and hydroponics came to Lithuania.

The Deputy Mayor of Panevėžys City Aleksas Varna was in Japan with the official delegation of Lithuania and this visit of businessmen is just a start of an active cooperation. The Deputy Mayor says that such visits will expand in the future and will become constant.

"During the visit to Japan we saw a lot and understood that these advanced technologies should be applied in Lithuania and Panevėžys. In the beginning of this year, we had a visit of Japanese businessmen who are solving the sludge processing questions at the Water Supply Company of Panevėžys. Thus, I hope that businessmen and the representatives of municipal companies who are taking part at today's presentation will get new knowledge  and use Japanese technologies in the future",- said the Deputy Mayor A. Varna.
