Cooperation between Panevėžys and Norwegian Businessmen is becoming more active
" We are glad that Panevėžys is a Norwegian island of industry. Several companies are functioning in our city and we hope that in the future an intensive development of Norwegian Industry Park will be a reality. The inhabitants of Panevėžys praise Norwegian companies as they are perfect employers",- said the Mayor Vitalijus Satkevičius.
The Director of Norwegian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce Birutė Kunčiūtė was happy that Norwegian businessmen fell very well in Panevėžys. Here they find qualified labour force and develop business activities successfully. " I hope that in the future we shall be more active in cooperation between this nice city of Panevėžys and Norwegian businessmen",- said B. Kunčiūtė.
"We are glad that the association has active cooperation contacts with the authorities of the city as it is very important to know the needs of both sides. I do believe that in frames of this good cooperation we shall succeed in making Panevėžys the most attractive city for investments not only in Lithuania but also in Europe. ",- told the President of Foreign Investors Business Association (F.I.B.A.) established in Panevėžys Per Eric Schonberg-Hansen.
According to the President of the Association F.I.B.A. creates the environment of "healthy" business in Panevėžys and its region. It helps foreign businessmen to be integrated into local community and serves as a platform for open cooperation between foreign investors, all kinds of public institutions and the authorities of Panevėžys City.
Panevėžys cultural and economical situation, investment possibilities in the city and in the Industrial Park-Free Economical Zone were presented.
