                          The Athletes of Panevėžys have been seen out to the International Children's Games

                          "It is a great pleasure to see so many nice young people ready to compete in international games. I do hope that you will represent Panevėžys well and reach high results. Good luck at competitions and we shall be waiting for your coming back", -said the Director of Administration of Panevėžys City Municipality Rimantas Pauža. 

                          Twenty four judo, swimming, football players and coaches make the delegation of the city. The heads of the delegation are the Head of Sports Department Justinas Jasiukaitis and the Chairman of Social Affairs, Health and Sports Committee Arūnas Balčiūnas.

                          International Children's Games is the largest children sports event. During its half century history ten thousands of children from 12 to 15 from over 500 cities of the world took part in it. Children competed in 3x3 basketball competition, small sided football matches, beach volleyball, light athletics, judo, swimming, table tennis and sailing.
