The cyclists will visit Panevėžys on August 24th.

According to the Deputy Director of Administration J. Gaidžiūnaitė, 120 cyclists will pass Panevėžys on the way from Šiauliai and Pakruojis. They will stop in NEPRIKLAUSOMYBĖS square. A small cultural programme will be organised for the people who will join at the square.

BALTIC CHAIN TOUR 2012 will be held on August 21-25th in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. For about 20 teams from Byelorussia, Bulgaria, Algeria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Norway, Rumania, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Slovakia, Germany and Ukraine will be present. This year BALTIC CHAIN TOUR 2012 are included into the International Calendar of International Cycling Sports Union (UCI) and they are provided with the category 2.2.
