"It is a great pleasure to see you in Panevėžys, on the eve of thirty years anniversary of partnership between the cities. Twenty years ago, in commemorating ten years anniversary, we together with the Mayor of Lünen planted a tree in Laisvės Square. It was the first partnership agreement of Panevėžys City signed already in 1990. We are thankful for donations and diverse support. Today, I am extremely pleased to see you in Panevėžys and thank you very much for your participation in the cultural project“, - said the Deputy Mayor V. Jakštas.

On November 27-30, the delegation of the artists from Lünen, the participants of the project "Cultural Parallels" visits Panevėžys. 

The guests will visit the Art and Photography Galleries, Art School, G. Petkevičaitė-Bitė Public Library and Art Glass Studio "GlasRemis“.

The exhibition of Lünen artists will be opened on the facade of the old building.
