V. Mežbārde and G. Millerson represent the same generation of painters. They are connected by certain parallels and intersections of creative growth and activity. Although both artists are inspired by the landscape, they each recreate it in their own way - through the interplay of color, light and dark, line and plane. In this sense, they are like different worlds.

The exhibition features paintings from a special collection of the Mark Rothko Art Center in Daugavpils, funded by the Basil Alkazzi Foundation.

The exhibition will be open in the Municipality until January 10, 2020.
