                          Vidmantas Urbonas, the Man coming from Ecological Action, was welcomed at the City Hall

                          " We are pleased that the man from Panevėžys makes not just the name of our city famous but also the name of the country. I admire such civic, stong-willed people. I wish the most possible success and endurance in the future in trying to swam across two more lakes",- said the Mayor of Panevėžys City Vitalijus Satkevičius.

                          In the Municipality V. Urbonas shared the impressions of the trip, told about the meeting with the Lithuanian community. V. Urbonas plans to continue ecological action " Water is life". Freshwater African Lake in Ethiopia and the Lake of Four Forested Cantons in Switzerland.

                          During the ecological action which is taking place for already three years the attention is focused on freshwater, the most precious treasure of Earth. The sportsman has already swam across Titikakain South America in 2009, Yellow Stone Lake in North America in 2010, the deepest lake on Earth Baikal in Asia in 2011. In total V. Urbonas swam 145 kilometres.
