The Ambassador of Lithuania in the Netherlands Darius Semaška, the Mayor of Goes Rene Verhulst, the Chairman of Panevėžys-Goes Twinning Committee Antoon Andela and local businessmen took part in it. Panevėžys-Goes Twinning Committee was established in 1993.
