Foreign delegations emphasized that the most important thing in cooperation is meetings. They were pleased with the excellent communication, cooperation with Panevėžys and  jointly implemented projects, etc.

Guests from abroad will visit the city's birthday events, the renewed Museums of Local Lore, the Resistance to Soviet Occupation, the glass studio Glasremis, the open-air gallery located on the site of the former Ekranas factory, etc.

Currently, Panevėžys has 15 partner cities abroad.
