Today, the exhibition BUEN CAMINO! A PILGRIMAGE ON THE CAMINO DE SANTIAGO has been opened in Panevėžys Art Gallery. The exhibition presents an extraordinary cultural and spiritual phenomenon of the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela, its importance for Europe's historical heritage and significance for Lithuania.

Panevėžys City Municipality joins the campaign organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and will mark the Day of Solidarity with Belarus Political Prisoners on November 27. On that occasion, the historical flag of Belarus will be placed next to the Municipal building tomorrow and the building will be illuminated in the colours of the Belarusian historical flag. The aim of this campaign is to express the support to the people of Belarus in their struggle for democracy and freedom.
