The Advantages of Investment Environment of Panevėžys in the New Publication

Demonstrational material about city investment environment "Panevėžys - Your Next Business Location" has been prepared.
"We are glad that "Invest in Lithuania" proposed our Municipality to be part of the project. Together with the consultants we looked through economic, statistic data of the region and the country once again, separated the advantages of investment environment. We are strong in logistics, prevailing of industrial companies, the potential of personnel education, training base for mechatronics and robotics. One more advantage - a fully ready free economic zone awaiting for investments.",- said the Director of Administration Kristina Nakutytė.
"We see much potential for Panevėžys to grow and to attract investments, if we all do homework properly. Taking into consideration statistic data we see that the number of people working at foreign capital companies has increased by one third since 2011 till today. Local and foreign capital companies of processing industry are well expanding: in 5 years we see a stable growth of 10 per cent. Due to its historical competences and the qualification of labour force Panevėžys is presented as one of the most attractive places for the companies of mechanical engineering,- states the Head of Regional Development of "Invest in Lithuania" Rugilė Andziukevičiūtė. Nevetheless, it is still very important to continue the construction of the base for stable growth - to strengthen Panevėžys Faculty of Kaunas Technological University, the activities of vocational schools, to train needed experts already now. The leadership role of Municipality in assisting businessmen, in creating proper benefits and improving city infrastructure is also of great importance."
"Panevėžys - Your Next Business Location" will be spread to all organisations uniting business for promoting Panevėžys investment potential. Demonstrational material can be used by everybody wishing to present the city and the region to potential investors.
