The Mayor of Panevėžys expressed thanks for the visit and hope that the businessmen of both countries will find the contacts interesting. The businessmen from Latvia were invited to invest into new companies at Panevėžys Industry Park.

H.E. the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia was pleased to visit Panevėžys not for the first time. The businessmen from Latvia are looking for business possibilities in Panevėžys and this visit could be the start for new contacts. Taking into consideration the indicators of macroeconomics, Lithuania is the biggest trade partner of Latvia and Panevėžys can be of real interest.

The guests also paied the visit to Joint-Stock Company LIETKABELIS producing cables and wires.
