According to the Draw the National Team will play against Spain, Turkey, Great Britain, Poland and Qualifier 2(Portugal, Finland and Hungary). The Group A games will be played in the city of Panevezys.

Lithuanians will start European Championship on August 31 with Great Britain, on September 1 they will meet Poland, on September 2-  Turkey, September 4- Spain, September 5- with the team from Qualifying Round.

According to Vitalijus Satkevičius, the Mayor of Panevėžys City, it would be a pleasure to welcome the stars of European basketball. Turkish and Spanish national teams will visit Panevėžys. The guests from the neighbouring Poland are also welcome.

Group B( Serbia, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Latvia) will play in Šiauliai. GROUP C (Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, F.Y.R. of Macedonia, Bosnia And Herzegovina) will compete in Alytus. Group D(Slovenia, Russia, Belgium, Georgia, Bulgaria, Ukraine) will meet in Klaipėda.
