First,  the guests expressed satisfaction for the successful cooperation lasting for 23 years. Goes and Panevėžys have been implementing common projects in the fields of education, social care and culture. The report of the last year activities has been handed over and discussed the newest projects in Panevėžys.

"I am happy that cooperation between cities is successful and constructive. I hope that nice cooperation will continue. 24 years ago, I, personally,  took part in the signing ceremony of  the Letter of Cooperation Intent in the City of Goes. Hope that in the future we shall have also common  business projects and the enterpreneurs from the Netherlands will find some interest in Panevėžys as well",- expressed the hope Mayor Rytis Račkauskas.

The guests donated the City of Panevėžys the bulbs of tulips and daffodils which will be planted in the city centre.
