The Authorities of the City met with the Members EU Committee of Economy and Social Affairs
The activities of the committee were presented to the authorities of the city and the members of Panevėžys Chamber of Trade, Industry and Crafts. EUESAC is an advisory body consultingthe largest EU institutions: European Commission, European Union and European Parliament.
"We consult by preparing the opinions concerning the proposed EU legal acts and other topics. One of the main tasks is to be the bridge between EU institutions and organised civic society. We help in strengthening the role of civic societies by making dialogues with these goups in EU states and other countries of the world",- said the member of EUESAC from Lithuania A. Januška.
The topics of education, enterpreunership, innovations, youth unemployment, trade with Russia, agriculture were discussed in the meeting.
