I do hope that will will take home the most beautiful impressions about Lithuania and Panevėžys",- said the Mayor of the city R. Račkauskas in welcoming the volunteers.

According to the Director of the Special Education Centre "Šviesa" Petras Leikauskas the volunteers assist a lot to teachers: "The volunteers are motivated very much. They know their tasks and aget adopted to the place rather quickly. They help our teachers in work with the disabled children. I am happy that the foreigners bring fresh air to school",- said the Director of the Centre P. Leikauskas.

The volunteers came to Panevėžys in frames of ERASMUS + programme. They visit educational institutions, communicate with the youth of the city and invite pupils to join European Volunteering Service where they can explore themselves and gain unforgettable experience.
