Panevėžys City Council has approved a new programme "Panevėžys-Lithuanan Capital of Culture" for 2014.
The winners of the contest "2013 Product of the Year" have been selected. 82 companies were nominated for the awards of the annual contest. Panevėžys companies are also among them.
For the third time the weekly "Veidas" announced twenty most valuable Lithuanian companies in 2013. Among them 3 companies functioning in Panevėžys: AB "LINAS AGRO"(the 5th place), AB "AMILINA"(the 18th-19th place) and AB "SCHMITZ CARGOBULL BALTIC"(the 19th-20th place).
